To celebrate this the trio is teaching an one-and-only IDC together. The three always looked for an opportunity to teach together and now its happpening. The IDC is going to be conducted in Dahab, Egypt during April 2013.
The Instructor Development Course (IDC) is a 10-day training program, which teaches you how to instruct recreational scuba diving. After the completion of the Instructor Exam you can teach PADI Open Water, PADI Advanced, EFR, PADI Rescue, PADI Divemaster and three diving specialities.
PADI Jonas Samuelsson, one of the most experienced Course Directors in the world, teach one of the most fun and progressive PADI IDCs in the industry. The IDC is a 10 day program with an additional month after the IDC with MSDT and Internship Program guarantee you a great start to your professional career as a PADI Diving Instructor.
During our IDCs at Team Blue Immersion and Dahab Divers we are adding many presentations and also days to ensure that you are ready to not only pass the PADI Instructor Exam but being ready to teach after the exam is completed.
During the IDC you will use the latest teaching techniques, the complete system of PADI support materials, and will be continuously assessed on your teaching and presentation skills.
You will be required to give additional teaching presentations beyond that of the usual IDC Program. This gives you an added advantage not only during the final Instructor Examination (IE), but also prepare you for your future career as a diving professional.
Upon successful completion you will be awarded an IDC completion form, which is your passport to the IE.
Pre-requisites and required training materials:
- Be at least 18 years of age
- Be a renewed PADI Divemaster or Assistant Instructor
- Be certified in CPR within the last 24 months
- Be a certified diver for at least 6 months
- Have 60 logged dives
(100 dives to take the PADI Instructor Exam)
